Are you the kind of person who is cheerful in doing something you are asked to do? Or the kind of person who looks miserable and not interested in doing tasks? We all have things to do, someone might ask you to do this or that, or your parents always ask you to do this, or your boss will give you a things to do list, or your teacher gives you assignments and activities or your church leader ask you to attend and do this in your ministry, but how do you always respond? Are you enjoying those tasks or feeling heavy and looking miserable in doing them? Ecc 3:22 says that there is nothing better for a man than to enjoy his work. Last sunday, we had our youth door to door evangelism in Hawanan, Eversly. It's the first time this year that the youth handled the evangelism for this month alone. I didn't expect that many youth would come to attend the evangelism, I was most blessed and happy to see them that afternoon; the laughter, the smiles, the enjoyment and the real fellowship that we shared together. It was one of the most challenging and special fellowships because they were about to share their personal testimonies to strangers. For some youth it's their first time that they joined in evangelism and for one youth who joined in first time to fellowship... and then boom! Straight to evangelism, what a blessing to start coming to fellowship and by that he was able to come out of his comfort zone. It's very encouraging to see when you are doing it with cheerfulness because you bless people through your example, instead of being absent and doing nothing in the house, but you choose to be part of the group of spiritual people who give full effort and time to share the gospel. I never heard any complaints, never heard negativity this time but what I heard was the sweet testimonies after the evangelism, and many shared about their experiences, and gave feedback that many people were touched and they were also invited to attend Bible studies and Sunday service. Heb 10:25 Not giving up meeting each other even when it's about other people just like evangelism. It's for other people, we shared what we recieved freely. Not giving up meeting each other even when it requires your time and effort to bless other people, not giving up meeting each other even when you have your own personal battles, because in the end it's not about you, it's about other people. Prov 17:22 A cheerful heart is a good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. and Col 1:24 Paul rejoices in his suffering for the sake of his body... which is the church. That should always be our mindset, doing the best we can do for the benefit of the body. Being cheerful brings healing to people you don't know what they are going through in life. So choose to be the medicine by having or showing a cheerful heart.
