Some people, not all, are motivated to achieve. I am speaking to the achievers. They have goals. They want to be the best in their fields. What makes an achiever achieve? Some say passion. Some say hard work. What does the Bible say about Jesus' achievement? Luke:2 34 Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: “This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against. So, what made Jesus' ministry so big? So worldwide? It was destined to be so. For many years, I questioned my ministry. I believe I have a very good grasp and insight into Scripture. Yet my ministry is a small church in Casanta. With my gifts and talents, humbly, I should have a big church. I don't. It is not what I was destined for. I worked very hard, all my effort, questioned my capabilities. But the doors never opened for big ministry. I can say, after all the hard work, I can say..I was never destined for big things. But I gave it my all. Some are destined to change the laws of a country. Some are destined to achieve nothing. Look back on their lives, and see...nothing achieved. We need, the achievers, to be content. To achieve a small business, mclc, or achieve a small church, mcc, is what I was destined for. Maybe you are, like me, destined for small things. Maybe you are destined for big things, change the laws of countries. Work hard. Have goals. Do your best where God put you. Achieve. It's up to God, who destined you, for big...or small things...
