God made all. God is in all. We call 'life" the breath of God. So what is alive? What is created? Trees are alive. Fruit is alive. They have no relationship with God. They are not saved. They are in heaven Rev 22:2. God crated animals before man. An animal, a man, a tree, are not the same. So what are living beings? Angels were created first. Then animals. Then humans. Angels don't understand salvation 1 Peter 1:12. Jesus did not die for them. They were created with a freewill. Some used that freewill to follow Lucifer and were cast down to earth. So the angels in heaven are not "saved". They just chose to obey God. Humans...Well we know about us. Created good. Fell in sin. Cast away from God. Law obedience was salvation. Now faith in Christ is salvation. So angels can't be saved. Humans can be saved. What about animals. In case you didn't know there are people who dearly love their pets. Sometimes, sadly, pets replace Humans. And pet owners love their pets. Pets love their owners. The bond is deep. Attachments are deep. They are alive. But their is one big difference between the animals, angels, and humans. They have no capacity to either know or to obey God. I would say they have no soul, but they just cannot know God. Back to trees, land, fruit, grass, water...they have no soul but clearly they are in heaven. Back to animals...we know that man initially did not eat meat. There was no killing of animals for food. This did not happen until Gen 9:3-6. There was no death until man ate fruit of good and evil. Then prohibited was tree of life. So, as there was no death, man and animals could have lived forever. Remember..no death. So neither animals nor humans were made to die. That changed with sin. Now, back to man. Man can be saved. But the relationship in heaven is not with each other Mth 22:27-30. Saved people are married to God Is 54:5 and 2 Cor 11: 2-3. Not physically. So back to animals. They were created. Created to live forever. Can't be saved. But are they in heaven? The Bible moves from Genesis all the way through the Bible.....to Genesis. Perfection with God. So let's look at the mini Bible. Is 65:25 how clear is that. (Is 11:6). Yes, I fully believe animals, pets will be in heaven. Without a doubt. They only question is, will you know and recognise them. Like humans, all will be changed. All human (and animal) relationships will be changed. So to your beloved pet....in heaven.
