Everything has a start and everything has an end. This is just the way of life. We are born in one place, we may die in the same place. We live in one place, we may or may not move. Some people are born and die in exactly the same place. They have never felt the need or want to move. They are happy where they are. For me I always wanted to be in a place far from my family. Others, want to be always close to their families. For me, I have a family now, that I want to stay with and see my days through. I am now contented. I have the first contract signed by Ann on the 5th May 2011. And her last day is 9th June 2023. She was of course here long before that in MCC. There was a start. There is an end. Yet, the friendship does not end. It will always be there. People move a few times in life. Its normal enough. We move until we find where it is we belong. We all search for a place to belong in. What I appreciate in Christianity, is that we can belong somewhere. We can input somewhere. We can feel in our hearts “this is where I belong”. This makes us very effective in both within ourselves and in ministry. We can say “I belong here”, there is no more itch to travel. We should allow life, the LORD, to lead us to where he wants us to be. We should never be with someone as we “have to” we should be free spirits. I know a person who is with someone, that if I were with that person, it would take me less than one second to leave them. I don’t understand why people put up with a constricting person. Worse still, if they are BF or GF. If that is your BF or GF, what on earth will they do to you when they are your spouse? True love, gives freedom, not chains. I am wandering again. So, I am grateful to Ann, all the effort she made for MCC and MCLC. She brought us from start to finish to Dep Ed recognition (almost). She has been with MCC and MCLC through many difficulties, hurts, pains. She has been a wonderful Youth leader and CO leader. She has shown her faithfulness to the LORD via MCC/LC. We very much wish her well in the future, with Lyle and their child. We know that where she goes she will always have a ministry with children, her passion and also her call. She never had an easy upbringing, but has turned out to be a woman who is strong, knows what she wants. A hard worker. Many sleepless nights for MCCLC. Most importantly, she has a spiritual home in MCC. We are a prayer away Ann. Bless you...
