As we would read this on Sunday 13th of September 2020, by next Saturday 19th September, it is New Year’s Day, where the calendar goes from 5780 to 5781 years since Adam. This is according to the Hebrew calendar. In our calendar, Jesus was born between 1 and 3 or 4 BC. He was crucified c. 33AD. When we go backwards chronologically in the Bible by using lunar years, the Hebrews arrive at Adams; time, as 5781 years from our time. For the Jew, the Messianic age will be ushered in on the year 7,000, the day of rest, the period of rest. In Hebrew 3761 is our 0 year, and in year 7000 it will be our c. 3239. So, when the 7th day comes, or the 7th millennia comes Ps 90: 4 and 2 Peter 3: 8 when this is tied in to Hebrew calendar reckoning, the Messiah will arrive, as we should learn how to reckon our days Ps 90:12. This is of course all approximate as we are mixing lunar and solar years. But for sure, I won’t be here c. 3239. No one reading this will be, so if the messiah arrives at that time - that will be the expected Jewish Messiah - the Christian messiah has come and gone; so to speak, and he did not rule for 1,000 years. In fact, he did not rule at all on planet earth. So, when we read these things, whilst interesting, we should focus more on where we will be at the point of our death. That I believe will be before 3239AD. At the end of the sixth millennium יהושע the Messiah will grant the gift of eternal life - the Age of Life to all who believe and obey Him. https://torahcalendar.com/ If this understanding is correct (which I do not believe at all), it means the gift of eternal life will happen after year 6999 or 1218 years to go. The problem with that is, where are all those who have believed and died? They do not have eternal life, so must be …where? The Bible is clear, absent from the body is to be present with the LORD 2 Cor 5:8. A bit pointless this verse if you did not know where you literally are. It also says at death, we are immediately in eternal destinations Lk 16: 20ff. So not only does this site teach soul sleep, it also teaches the messiah has not yet come, and it teaches that Jesus lied when he said in John 5:24 - HAS eternal life, NOT will be given eternal life. Many things are interesting to read. Sound good. But we must weigh them up against Scripture. As for me, I do believe God created the world, by speech, and at the instant of the creation, all was brand new, yet, millions of years old. Totally NEW and completely billions of years old. No contradiction here. I believe it is good, wise, necessary to read, study. It is how we learn. But just because something is persuasive, does not mean it is right. So let us remember the warning Paul gave to Timothy in 2 Tim 2:15 - correctly handles the word of truth. Jesus said, no one knows the hour of the return of the Son of Man. So it cannot be in 3239 AD as that is a calculable time. Be wise.
