Life and SNL.....

Every week since MCC started I have done SNL. How many have I written? Beyond me. Most are stored for the next 25 years. Truth be known I haven't saved any I did last year, or this year. And I very much doubt 2 office staff have bothered to save the snl of 2023 and 2024. Repeats or not, a weekly save. I doubt it 99%. So what has that got to do with my SNL? Same as all my sermons. I have in one form or another, 26 years of sermons. Right now in MCC am going through 2010 messages. And no one knows. Or remembers. Maybe a slight memory recall, but then the delivery is different. So in essence, not the same. So? So...so I planned way ahead. I notice some can't plan anything ahead. Others plan for after their departure. We'll at least, for one generation. Some just can't think past a daily or weekly wage. Others plan how to pass on wisdom. In Proverbs, wisdom is personified. Given female attributes. We are more used to understanding women as beautiful, precious, knowing much...and as such, wisdom is a precious gem. Few find her. Few know her. Few chase her. And even fewer understand her. The ostrich buries its head. Can't see. So it doesn't exist. Some people are like that. Can't see ahead. Don't plan or prepare. They can't. They weren't endowed with wisdom. So me, right now, am living off my ATM. Am daily withdrawing strength. Weekly withdrawing past sermons. Weekly withdrawing past prayer studies. All Bible studies well and truly covered. Why? Wisdom. To plan ahead. Save notes, sermons, snl, studies ahead. For one day, we can't go on. So, what are you saving ahead for? Which rainy day? Or no future plans. People love to tell me, man makes his plans but God directs the steps. Now...wisdom...man makes his plans. What plans are you making for the future? Any? Wisdom. Think ahead. You will eventually benefit.
