Robocop.....

Most people have seen the movie Robocop. Alex Murphy was injured. He was operated on. Became a machine after an explosion. He retained memories of events but was now a machine. Mind of a man but the body was not normal. He wanted to again hold a woman. A child. He had all the emotions of a man, but he was really a machine. He was made by his creator, literally to do a task. He could feel. He had emotions. He had physical wants and needs in his mind. But that was his mind. His body was taken over to do a task. That's it. Amazingly, I was talking to someone recently who felt they were once a normal person, became a machine. God did not permit this person to be a normal man. Prevented this person from even touching the one he wanted to, as the arms were controlled by the creator even if the mind was independent of the creator. The closest example of this is king Abimelech Gen 20:6... from even touching her. I mean...TOUCHING HER. Abimelech did not touch a hair on her head. Robocop. Alex Murphy. Feelings. Emotions. But not even touch Sarah. Good for Abraham. He had Sarah. But the king wanted Sarah. The king must have been devastated when he was told....she has given her heart, mind, body, not to you. It must be like Hannah. Bitterness of soul. 1 Sam 1:10... crying, crying, crying. She eventually got what she wanted. A man and a baby. And then imagine how Robocop was asked... Alex... you machine... can you do a wedding ceremony? Who, asked Alex? Marry the woman you, love to the man she wants. Would Alex Murphy do that ceremony? Would king Abimelech do that ceremony? I asked this person I was talking to...Would you do the ceremony? Hopefully he replied... I will never be asked. But hypothetically, would you? Alex replied, this man replied, Abimelech replied, I don't deal in hypotheticals. So, I felt great pain for the one I was talking to. He was in... bitterness of soul. Bangon lang ta balik... I told him. Come on, let's get up. Let's keep moving. Let's move forward... I told him. I looked into Alex's eyes, a tear rolled down his machine face. Somewhere in there was a lonely man.
