Two things.....

Two things happened recently that struck me: having a Froccino and Children outreach message Self Control. How are these 2 things connected? I was dealing with a future problem, by negating that problem, and in relaxing, was listening to the past, whilst keeping self controlled in the present. Teaching children to control their mouth, eyes, hands, really must start, by the teacher having experienced self control themselves in various situations. And in these difficult situations I always remember that it is actually NOT my self control, but God's. Gen 20:6 . God keeps us from sinning. We actually don't control ourselves, God controls us. Very complex. I have learnt that whilst the container is empty, be grateful you have a container. It may or may not become full, but at least you have a container. Looking ahead, is important as we can see potential problems as we know who people are, their nature and character. Yes, some things are hidden or suppressed but God has a way of bringing situations about that reveal who we are. So.knowing this, we must apply...Lk 14: 31. If you know a problem will come, you really must do your best to not allow problems to come. In all things, what we think and do we are both responsible for what we do, whilst we are not. What we do or not, we are responsible, whilst we are not...Acts 2;23. This verse is very clear. You are and not, responsible, as it is God who determines both us and end results. We should take great comfort in how God leads and guides, literally, our thoughts and actions and how he prevents, or not, our actions. So, as per self control, be controlled, whilst enjoying the moment, and be who you are in dealing with issues, your way. Knowing if it happens, it is God's way.
