It is quite amazing that it is already September 2020. A year, where little has been achieved, except short tempers, quick to get stressed, quick to react, and where slow purposeful thought and discussions are replaced with quick, ill-thought responses. It happens with me, I observe that, and it happens with others, I observe that too. In a time, when this is read in the future it will make no sense, but for now it does. ECQ, GCQ, MGCQ, all have their original guidelines. And yet, as we enter the last stage, MGCQ, (as if you didn’t read, New Normal is (cancelled/absent/gone). This is the final status. With modifications of course. Forever modifications at the whim of one person. So what is MGCQ, whatever the local Mayor wants it to be. The powers to be, were quick to order soldiers with machine guns on the street, but the powers to be, are silent on giving us back our lives, freedom. And this affects all of us in one way or another. It affects different people in different ways. Almost the last 6 months are nothing but covid, people’s inability to cope with stresses. Normal human historical evangelism and children’s rights and freedoms are stamped out under the guise of; it’s for your good. What is for my good? As if we are mindless, senseless stupid twits that we do not know what is for our own good. God is good. And God’s word is good for me. Understand I have all my rights in Christ, but when you try to bring this concept to the mind of a child, they do not understand why their rights have been trampled on by those who purport to defend them. Champions of the child, have turned to smashers of freedom of the child. And all under the guise of health. The stupidity of not allowing people outside, all ages, is beyond my intellectual capacity to grasp. Yes, I am a fool. A fool for Christ. Whose fool are you? And those who wish to inform us of how good it all is, still break the rules. No eating out. So a mayor was caught in a neighboring state, where eating out is permitted. So, as always, they make the rules on others. Yet, they themselves know and need this social interaction, which they forbid others to do. That is why God is good. We all had our steady lives. We all had a routine. And we are forced, due to a few powerful people, to succumb to their laws, even though they themselves do not. We all know this. We all have seen months of these examples. A decision made. Changed. Another made. Changed. So what security can we get from God? Mal 3: 6 I the LORD do not change. What a comfort that verse is. Num 23: 19 God does not change his mind or lie. James 1: 17. No variation in God. Let us think about those verses. We change, even who we are, based on circumstances. God does not. You always know where you stand with God. Obedience brings God’s pleasure with his creation. Disobedience, brings his wrath. We know where we stand. We do not for one moment think we can try to change God’s mind on certain issues. His word is clear. Yet our words are not, yet they should be. We should state what we feel, believe, and then not to move from that. That makes us consistent, reliable people. No “misinterpretation” or “miscommunication”. Like with God. His word is very clear. Then everybody knows everyone’s viewpoint, and we either accept it or not, but it is clear, we cannot change their world view. God can, we cannot. Heb 6: 18 God is steady, a rock, unchangeable. If we do not agree with God, we must change, as the LORD will not. So, what sort of people do we want, have, like, around us? And what sort of people do we (or should we) struggle with being around us? We should look for solid people, solid characters, and not tossed around via circumstances. Again, we all, to some degree, are affected by situations. But in Christ, in God, no situations can or should change us. We should be rock solid. Just like a rock solid stable God, we look to those who can do the same thing. Rock solid in their decision making, not changing their ideals due to a circumstance. I really start to see how the Pharisees point out all the laws to follow, as they break a multitude of them, themselves. At least I know where I stand. God’s law above man’s. And yet, still submitting to driving MWF. Why? I don’t want my car impounded. But I will not say to you “don’t drive” but I do. I will not say “don’t do this”, but I will. That is not Godly, or Christ-like. Look to God. Unchangeable.
