Unholy Alliance.....

Again, for the umpteenth time: 1 Cor 10: 11; Rom 15:4. Things are written to warn us. Unfortunately either people read the Bible and do not understand what they are reading Acts 8: 30 (do you understand Mark 8: 21) or they understand, but they do not care about the lessons being taught. Two political enemies become friends. Why? Two large powerful forces, who each want to remain in power, and will crush all in their way, unite together, to form one united team. Why? To benefit the people. That’s not at all what is in the mind of Pilate and Herod Lk 23: 12. They united together, for one purpose, briefly, to try to destroy the innocent. They cared only for themselves. They united together, 2 political parties, to crush Jesus. And after their UNITED goal, to achieve one purpose, and one purpose only, to try to kill the king of the Jews, they then went back to their normal hatred of each other, as to human monsters, they cannot be caged together for very long. One must devour the other. It is the nature of the beast; to devour. The old adage- my enemy’s enemy, is my friend. United, but only to use each other to gain what they wanted. Sadly, this Biblical lesson is clearly beyond most people’s comprehension. Acts 4: 27, there is a much larger united team here in Acts 4. All united together. All manner of corrupt. All united together against the good. Ps 83: 4-6; divided political teams, become united for one reason; to destroy Israel. Spiritual Israel stands, no matter what is thrown against it. Jesus the one and only king, flies the banner of heaven, and its ruler. Humans fly their flags and appointed themselves as king, Put a crown on their heads. But they fail to understand Dan 2: 21. It’s God who appoints leaders- not some political nations, or groups or families. Rev 1: 13 only one king. One sash. Appointed by God himself, HIMSELF. One of the most important things, is sometimes, it is best to keep away from taking sides. If God is not in either Pilate or in Herod, then casting our support for either Herod or Pilate, is, well, evil. No other way to say it. You cannot support Christ and Herod. You cannot support Christ and Pilate. The choices are simple. Cast not for Herod nor Pilate, but go into your room and pray Mth 6: 6. A better solution. A silent nothing, to the world. A great cry for peace to the LORD. And what is sad? The innocent always suffer, because the masses can’t see Herod or Pilate.
