Which is right?.....

I had a talk with someone recently about a range of topics. Was Paul single or married? I wish all were like me (seemingly single 1 Cor 7: 7). Don’t WE have the right to take a wife (seemingly married 1 Cor 9: 5). Paul says I forbid a woman to speak – must be silent 1 Tim 2: 12. Paul says if she does speak, she must have her head covered 1 Cor 11: 4-7 and if the covering is the hair, women must have long hair 1 Cor 11:15 and men must be bald 1 Cor 11: 7). Or what about Marriage? Well, Gen 24:67 meet the first time, go into tent, have sex, and call it marriage. Meet, and then wait, then marriage ceremony to Jacob, Isaacs’s son Gen 29: 22, 27 one week marriage ceremony. So in all the above examples, you can go either way you want, you can justify whatever you want. Jesus said- one wife Mth 19: 6 one man and one wife equals two. Yet Paul says 1 Tim 3:12 a deacon must have one wife. So, by implication, if I have two wives, am a Christian, no issue- I just can’t be a deacon. There are many other issues like these in the Bible. Denominations are made on interpretation of these verses. Religions are made on interpretation of these verses. Division and division. Can I drink alcohol? Yes in Lk 7: 34. And then never again till Parousia Mth 26: 29. All of the above are not an issue for me. Very easy actually. But what is difficult for me, is people who talk out of ignorance. They have no training in Biblical interpretation. They give their opinion from their head. As Ps 82: 5 says they know nothing, they understand nothing. They walk around in darkness. They are fools. Their life is so far from God. They open their mouth- and the foolish believe them and follow them. The blind leading the blind. This is so sad. They destroy the walk of innocent Christians who are gullible enough to believe them. Have a question? Ask it. But make sure the person answering, whom you asked, knows what they are talking about. Easy? No. 1 John 4: 1 test the spirits. Yet people ask, how do I do that? Give them a paper and pen? Where can I do that? Women keep quiet? Yes. Can I eat/drink blood, go to fiestas? Yes. Only a fool believes what they say. You have only 1 soul. Guard it carefully. You will never ever be able to say to God…but they told me…but they taught me. It’s your soul. You have one. Choose wisely what you believe.
